The 'Walks & Talks' events are free to CPRE members, Friends of the Peak District and Peak District Guardians. Non-members are charged £3 per person and £5 for two people. Charges for the Special Events vary. We will let you know the cost when you telephone to book for the event. Further details of all our forthcoming events are included in the Events programme for 2008/09* available online now (PDF Document format).
If you are interested in practical conservation work then visit www.friendsofthepeak.org.uk/events/conservation_events.htm. Willing to turn their hands to anything, from hedge-laying to ditch-digging and from dry stone walling to foot path repair, the Friends’ Conservation Team brings together volunteers from all walks of life to support the practical work of the Peak Park Ranger Service and the National Trust Conservation Team.
